إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى
Actions are only by intentions, and every person will have only what he intended.
بُنِيَ الإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ: شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلاَةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ، وَحَجِّ الْبَيْتِ
Islam is built upon five: testimony that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing prayer, paying zakah, fasting Ramadan, and Hajj.
مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent.
أَفْضَلُ الأَعْمَالِ الصَّلاَةُ عَلَى وَقْتِهَا
The best of deeds is prayer at its proper time.
بَيْنَ الرَّجُلِ وَبَيْنَ الشِّرْكِ وَالْكُفْرِ تَرْكُ الصَّلاَةِ
Between a man and shirk and kufr is abandoning prayer.
إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا
When the Imam says Ameen, then say Ameen.
خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.
اقْرَؤُوا الْقُرْآنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شَفِيعًا لِأَصْحَابِهِ
Recite the Quran, for it will come on the Day of Resurrection as an intercessor for its companions.
يُؤْتَى بِالْقُرْآنِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَهْلِهِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ بِهِ
The Quran and its people who used to act upon it will be brought on the Day of Resurrection.
مَنْ سَبَّحَ اللَّهَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، وَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، وَكَبَّرَ اللَّهَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ
Whoever says SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 33 times after every prayer...
كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ، ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ، حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Two words are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, beloved to the Most Merciful: SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil-Azim.
مَنْ قَالَ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، فِي يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ، حُطَّتْ خَطَايَاهُ
Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi one hundred times in a day, his sins are erased.
إِنَّ مِنْ خِيَارِكُمْ أَحْسَنَكُمْ أَخْلَاقًا
Indeed the best among you are those with the best manners.
اتَّقِ اللَّهَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ، وَأَتْبِعِ السَّيِّئَةَ الْحَسَنَةَ تَمْحُهَا، وَخَالِقِ النَّاسَ بِخُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ
Be mindful of Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good deed and it will erase it, and treat people with good character.
لاَ تَحَاسَدُوا، وَلاَ تَنَاجَشُوا، وَلاَ تَبَاغَضُوا، وَلاَ تَدَابَرُوا، وَكُونُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ إِخْوَانًا
Do not envy one another, do not hate one another, do not turn away from one another; be servants of Allah as brothers.
طَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.
مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ
Whoever travels a path seeking knowledge, Allah makes easy for him a path to Paradise.
مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ
If Allah intends good for a person, He gives him understanding in religion.
اللَّهُمَّ آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
O Allah, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best way.
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَادِي
O Allah, set right for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs; set right for me my worldly life wherein is my living; and set right for me my Hereafter wherein is my return.
مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
Whoever relieves a believer from a worldly hardship, Allah will relieve him from a hardship on the Day of Resurrection.
لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ
None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.
لاَ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا، وَلاَ تُؤْمِنُوا حَتَّى تَحَابُّوا، أَوَلاَ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ إِذَا فَعَلْتُمُوهُ تَحَابَبْتُمْ؟ أَفْشُوا السَّلاَمَ بَيْنَكُمْ
You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I tell you something that will make you love one another? Spread salam among yourselves.
خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لأَهْلِي
The best of you are those who are best to their families, and I am the best of you to my family.
رِضَا الرَّبِّ فِي رِضَا الْوَالِدِ، وَسَخَطُ الرَّبِّ فِي سَخَطِ الْوَالِدِ
The pleasure of the Lord is in the pleasure of the parent, and the displeasure of the Lord is in the displeasure of the parent.
مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should maintain family ties.
