بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Said when one forgets to mention Allah before eating.
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
All praise is for Allah who fed me this and provided it for me without any power or might from myself.

Whoever says this after eating will have his previous sins forgiven.
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَأَطْعِمْنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُ
O Allah, bless it for us and feed us with that which is better than it.

Said after drinking milk.
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
O Allah, bless it for us and increase us in it.

O Allah, feed whoever fed me and give drink to whoever gave me drink.

Mention Allah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearest to you.
